CLASS 3 NEWSLETTER

SUMMER 2021

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to our new term and I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday.

Our topic this term is entitled ‘All Dressed Up!’ studying Clothes throughout History beginning next week with our own favourite outfits! Please find attached our topic planner for the term. We will take part in PE sessions throughout this term including indoors and outdoors on the playground and the field including a weekly session with the specialist sports coach. Our PE sessions are as follows-

Monday- indoor PE/ Dance (tops and shorts required please remember the children also need to be suitably attired for outdoor playtimes)

Tuesday- with the sports coach on the playground

Wednesday- summer games on the field

Morning routine

Each day the children will need:

• A healthy snack (named)
• A drinks bottle with fresh water (named)
• Reading book and reading record in their wallet every day

If you have any questions, or wish to speak to me regarding any matter, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school either through the class e-mail or by telephone through the school office. As always please let us know about any worries or issues so they can be addressed and sorted out as soon as possible to keep everyone happy and smiling.

This term Fran Alvey will be teaching the class during my PPA time on Wednesday afternoons.
