Year 4 Public Speaking Event
This year, the public speaking event organised by a local group of schools took place at Katherine Semar in Saffron Walden. Four pupils went to take part, having learnt all about Koalas and learnt a speech to give in front of the 6 other school and teachers that were there. When we got there, we found out that they were also presenting in front of the incoming Mayor of Saffron Walden. It was a very interesting and informative afternoon finding out about a wide range of endangered animals. The children did a brilliant job, speaking very clearly and confidently and answering the questions they were asked very well. They also enjoyed the biscuits!

Times Tables
These are links to time table songs that the children can use to learn their times tables. Get them moving around while they are singing as it all helps the times tables sink in. There are some good Numberock songs on YouTube for all times tables.
