    PGL Day 1

We had a smooth coach journey to Bawdsey. Once we got there, we were able to get straight into our rooms to get settled in. Once we had, some of us played some ball games outside while others chose to chill out in their rooms. Dinner was a choice of lasagne or sausage roll with vegan nuggets and pasta and tomato sauce available as well, not forgetting the toffee muffin for pudding! After that, we had a bit more time to chill out in rooms or play some basketball before our evening activity of Passport to the World. This was a big orienteering activity in groups, finding flags around the site and answering questions about the countries. Then back to the accommodation for showers and bed.

    PGL Day 2

The children didn't need any help getting up for breakfast this morning, which was sausages, hash browns, baked beans, with a selection of cereals and toast as well. Room inspection followed, which was very impressive, with all 3 rooms getting the same score. Our morning activities were archery and the giant swing before we had lunch of pizza and chips. In the afternoon, we had the challenge course, followed by the trapeze. Dinner was a choice of chicken or fish fingers and pasta or chips with jelly for pudding. Our evening activity was balloon smash, where the children competed to win materials to protect a water balloon when dropped from a height. One group managed to keep their balloon intact and then decided they should throw it at their teacher as well as the spare balloons and bucket of water. A fun-packed day and we will do it all again tomorrow!
