Houses

Welcome to our Bentfield House points page.

 

Upon admission to our school, pupils will be placed in one of our four houses: Romans, Saxons, Normans or Vikings. Siblings will be allocated the same house. House Points can be allocated alongside any of our other school rewards, e.g. dojo points or headteacher awards, or in isolation for good work or behaviour. There are also other events throughout the year, e.g. our school’s ‘Sport Challenge Morning’ where pupils compete in house teams to earn points. We believe that house points encourage teamwork as well as recognising individual endeavours.

 

House points are given as tokens (colour co-ordinated for each house), which are placed in the collection boxes near the school office. Totals are counted frequently and displayed next to the boxes, as well as on the front page of this school website.
