TIMES OF THE SCHOOL DAY

The school gates open at 8.40am and we welcome pupils into the classrooms from this time to complete their morning activities. We expect all pupils to be in school for registration at 8.50am. This is the time the school day officially starts and we ask that all parents leave the school premises by this time.

Lunchtime starts at 12.00pm for reception, year 1 and year 2, and at 12.20pm for years 3 to 6. The afternoon session commences at 1.15pm.

The school day ends at 3.20pm. The gates will open at 3.10pm and we ask parents to wait outside the classroom doors for their child to be dismissed (with the exception of years 5 and 6 whose parents and carers are asked to wait on the playground).

Morning nursery sessions are from 8.45am-11.45am and afternoon sessions are from 12.15pm-3.15pm. Please see the nursery section for more information.

EMERGENCY CHANGE OF PICK UP

In the event you need to make an emergency change to the person who will collect your child please email your child's class directly by 3pm at the latest.

We cannot authorise a child to leave the school with another adult on the same day without written permission from a Parent/Carer.

LATE PICK UP - END OF SCHOOL DAY

All children should be collected from their classroom at 3:15pm (unless your child is in Year 5 or 6 and has written permission to walk offsite on their own)

Any child who has not been collected once the rest of the class is dismissed will be taken to Kids club and an emergency charge of £5 will be made.

A call will be made to parents by class staff to find out why no one has arrived.

You should make your way to the school office when you arrive and use the Kids club doorbell to let them know you are here.

If you collect your child very late (after 4pm) a full charge of £12.50 will be made (this is the ad hoc booking charge for a child attending Kids club).

LATE PICK UP - AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

Please ensure you arrive on time to collect your child from any after school club they are attending.

In the event you do not collect your child after they have attended a school club they will be taken to Kids club and an emergency charge of £5 will be made. 

A call will be made to parents by the member of staff running the club to find out why no one has arrived.

You should make your way to the school office when you arrive and use the Kids club doorbell to let them know you are here.

If you arrive to collect your child 15 minutes or more after the club has finished a full charge of £12.50 will be made (this is the ad hoc booking charge for a child attending kids club).
