On Sunday 17th May over a quarter of our pupils turned out to join in with the Grange Paddocks Junior Parkrun. 45 pupils ran, with some siblings who are pupils at the school there to support as well.
As a school, we have partnered with Parkrun Primary to help to get our pupils even more active and spending more time outdoors. As part of this, I ran an assembly within school and then we encouraged as many of the school as possible to join in.
We're delighted with the attendance we got and very proud of all of the pupils who took part. We're hoping that they continue to attend to support their physical and mental health as well as encouraging their friends back at school who weren't able to come on Sunday to go down as well. Having looked through all of the past runs at Grange Paddocks, The pupils from Bentfield helped to make Sunday's junior parkrun the biggest ever at Grange Paddocks!
